The proposal focuses on the idea of the `plaza` as a meeting point for the community, a more common way to appropriate the city. By removing all motorized traffic from the city center of Târgu Mureș, the project proposes unifying the series of squares that connects the medieval area with the citadel, encouraging social and cultural events. The project offers a flexible and fluid space for the modern multicultural city. Thus, the center of Târgu Mureș regains its original symbolic function of human engagement and trade.
